TPS Receives Multiple Project Management Awards at PMI-KPC Awards 2016

TPS, the innovation leader in cards & payments solutions across various regions, is proud of its Project Management Team for receiving multiple awards at the PMI-KPC Awards 2016. PMI is the world’s largest not-for-profit membership association for the project management profession (www.pmi.org), whereas the PMI-KPC awards are the most recognized Project Management awards in Pakistan. The awards ceremony took place on November 26, 2016 at Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi.

Muhammad Owais Yahya, Senior Project Manager at TPS, was named the Project Manager of the year 2016 for successful deployment of IRIS, a multi-channel payments platform, at Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited.

The award for the Project of the year 2016 was received by Haseeb Ahmed Khan, Portfolio Manager at TPS, for demonstrating a disciplined and agile approach to successfully deliver a project that would drastically improve the digital payments landscape of Liberia.

“We feel proud and accomplished to receive recognition from PMI-KPC. This demonstrates our maturity and capability of our Project Management Team to deliver projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.” said Ahson Saeed, Global Head – Business Development, TPS.

Aadil Mansoor Ali, Head of PMO & Business Excellence at TPS, said, “This is the second time this year that TPS has been recognized with a project management award.  PMI awards were tougher than P@SHA as projects are scrutinized against global project management standards and the competition is across all industries including FMCGs, Engineering, Construction, Oil & Gas, Food, Banking, IT etc.  We are proud of our Project Managers & Portfolio Managers for proving time and again that by setting clear objectives beforehand, detailed planning, strong monitoring & stakeholders management, even the most complex projects can be successfully delivered while meeting cost and schedule commitments.”
